![]() Overall, I really loved Dishonored 2, and it's a great game in its own right, but I just don't think it was able to surpass the original.Ĩ0% PCХорошая игра. It's hard to put into words, but it just didn't immerse me in the same way, which is a shame because the levels are gorgeous. On top of that, and this might just be a personal choice, but I found the setting of Karnaca to be much less compelling than that of Dunwall. ![]() The environments in these segments looked pretty much identical, and there just wasn't enough to really draw me in. While the levels themselves were much more creative in their gameplay gimmicks, I found that the "intro" portion of most levels where you approached the main level through the city to be a bit repetitive. With all that being said, there were a few areas that where I thought Dishonored 2 didn't quite match up to its predecessor. Being able to get different perspectives on the main story definitely made a second playthrough feel like it was worth it, and not just something I needed to trudge through to get a different ending. ![]() I really enjoyed taking a non-lethal, full stealth approach with Emily, while opting for a more violent and bloody playthrough with Corvo. However, that leads me to another improvement over the original - the ability to select from two playable main characters, each with a slightly different story. ![]() I think Dishonored 2 improved its non-lethal options over the original, but in my first (non-lethal) playthrough, I still felt like I was limited in my options and that I was missing out. It's essentially the same as in the original Dishonored, but with some additional powers and gadgets. I very much enjoyed Dishonored 2, and while I think that it surpassed the original in terms of level design, I think that it fell just a bit short in most other respects. 80% PCThe Dishonored series is one of my favorites, with the original Dishonored being one of my favorite games of all time.

I actually left the option on the default to see how long it would take to get used to, and after a couple days it felt perfectly natural. ![]() Thankfully, you can switch back to the regular style if you wish. ![]() Just to make it clear, this is the opposite of how scrolling works in every major desktop operating system. Sound familiar? Obviously, iOS operates similarly. ![]() That is to say, pushing up scrolls the content down. In Lion it all starts with the touchpad, and Apple has made the bold step of flipping a decades-old paradigm - a scrolling motion no longer corresponds to the scroll bar, instead it corresponds to the content inside the window. All in all, very clean and simple - although we'd love the ability to create an external recovery disk somewhere in the mix (by default Lion puts its own recovery partition on your main hard drive). On restart, you'll be presented with a quick tutorials on Lion's new multitouch gesture controls, and then you're off to the races. The one exception was an older MacBook Pro that was having disk problems to begin with - the install hung on the "verify disk" part. Once you hit go, installation is straightforward and relatively quick most of our staff computers took under 30 minutes to install Lion. Some time later, depending on how fast you can move 3.74GB down your connection, you'll have the newly-minimal installer app in your dock - there's no customization here, just the ability to pick an install disk. Installing Lion is fairly straightforward, and kind of revolutionary, assuming you're already running an up-to-date version of Snow Leopard: just open the Mac App Store, hit buy, and watch it download. So basically, going from pirated to purchasing a minimum license will be a downgrade in features. ![]() especially considering my options which are: buy the minimum license, pirate it which comes with hex rays, suck it up and pay for hex rays and IDA. Nobody has brought this up yet so: this is a really difficult price for a college student. Tl dr: Having people training themselves and using the tool, can lead to increased revenue in the form of licenses for the company. There are benefits from it for the company. So while I dont agree at all with feeling "entitled" to use whatever tool you want, or in piracy. Having people use it for their own personal stuff, and get trained on their software, helps them spread the word about their tool and sells more licenses.
