![]() Overall, I really loved Dishonored 2, and it's a great game in its own right, but I just don't think it was able to surpass the original.Ĩ0% PCХорошая игра. It's hard to put into words, but it just didn't immerse me in the same way, which is a shame because the levels are gorgeous. On top of that, and this might just be a personal choice, but I found the setting of Karnaca to be much less compelling than that of Dunwall. ![]() The environments in these segments looked pretty much identical, and there just wasn't enough to really draw me in. While the levels themselves were much more creative in their gameplay gimmicks, I found that the "intro" portion of most levels where you approached the main level through the city to be a bit repetitive. With all that being said, there were a few areas that where I thought Dishonored 2 didn't quite match up to its predecessor. Being able to get different perspectives on the main story definitely made a second playthrough feel like it was worth it, and not just something I needed to trudge through to get a different ending. ![]() I really enjoyed taking a non-lethal, full stealth approach with Emily, while opting for a more violent and bloody playthrough with Corvo. However, that leads me to another improvement over the original - the ability to select from two playable main characters, each with a slightly different story. ![]() I think Dishonored 2 improved its non-lethal options over the original, but in my first (non-lethal) playthrough, I still felt like I was limited in my options and that I was missing out. It's essentially the same as in the original Dishonored, but with some additional powers and gadgets. I very much enjoyed Dishonored 2, and while I think that it surpassed the original in terms of level design, I think that it fell just a bit short in most other respects. 80% PCThe Dishonored series is one of my favorites, with the original Dishonored being one of my favorite games of all time.
